Everything

Well, this is not what I expected.

Nico was in Nantes last Saturday. He's trying to sell his apartment in Nantes, but the potential buyer didn't show up. He was upset, so Joe and I decided to pick him up for dinner.

It's not the only thing he's upset about. He's suing his old employer for firing him unfairly. It's pretty brave to fight against a big company but I'm concerned that he's not going to win at the end. He's unemployed. He has no money to pay for a big lawyer. And If he didn't sell his apartment soon, he will not even be able to make a living.

The last Friday, he went to the Syndicate to ask for help. But they treated him badly and shut the door in front of his face. The situation seems desperate.

Personally, I think he should abandon this court thing and start over. But it's not easy to change his mind. He's stubborn like a mule.

Thanks for all the messages I got for Nico. I showed him the message and he didn't believe that total strangers would write to him to encourage him. He thought I made up all the message to make him feel better. I can't convince someone who doesn't want to be convinced.

On the brighter side, we had a relaxing evening. We laughed watching funny cat videos and we ate well. We prepared a nice dinner, and we had a great evening. At this point, I wish all the best for him, but I don't think there's more we can do to help him.
